Waking up to the thought of having you is way better than waking up to a full course breakfast or an early morning wank. And when I say better, it’s verging on the incalculable. The idea of your existence and its great relevance to my life right now initially puts a smile on my face during this one sleazy morning.

I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken - and I’d rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived. - Margaret Mitchell

You say that you love rain, but you open your umbrella when it rains. You say that you love the sun, but you find a shadow spot when the sun shines. You say that you love the wind, but you close your windows when wind blows. This is why I am afraid, you say that you love me too. - William Shakespeare

I understand the impulse: the impulse to want to put out your hand and want someone to be there at the end of your reach. To want someone to be close to. To want to kiss or touch, even if it’s wrong. The point is, you can’t control these feelings. Even if they’re wrong, they’re still there. - Dawson’s Creek
